This policy explains what happens to your information when you use this digital business card. I've kept it short because the card only collects what you choose to send me.

Who I am

Monica Thomas, trading as Monica Thomas | Web Developer, is the data controller for information collected through this card. I'm registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), registration number ZC283679.

What I collect

Only what you type into the two forms on this card:

• Connect with Me: your name, phone number or email, and any note you add.
• Want your own digital card?: your name, email address and message.

The Save My Contact button creates a contact file on your own device. Nothing is sent to me when you use it.

Why I use it

To reply to you, connect with you, and talk about any work you've asked about. The lawful basis is legitimate interests (replying to someone who has contacted me), or steps towards a contract if you're asking about my services.

I won't add you to a mailing list or share your details for marketing.

Services I use

• Formspree delivers form messages to my inbox.
• GitHub Pages hosts this card. Like most hosts, it may keep basic technical logs, such as IP addresses, for security.

Both are based in the US. Transfers are covered by approved safeguards under UK data protection law.

Cookies

This card doesn't use cookies, analytics or tracking.

How long I keep it

Enquiries that don't lead to a project are deleted within 12 months. If we go on to work together, your details are handled under the privacy policy on my main website.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information I hold about you, or object to how I use it. Email info@monica-webdeveloper.com and I'll reply within one month.

If you're unhappy, please contact me first. You can also complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
